A short but very enjoyable game for any Starship Troopers fan
A short but very enjoyable game for any Starship Troopers fan. As an RTS is it a bit basic but what it does it does do well. Sadly falls short of being a great game, an endless mode where you built your own fort and had to defend it against the bugs would bring a great deal of replayability to the game. As it stands I feel once you have completed the single player campaign there is no reason to return.

Greetings Trooper! I see you want to enlist in the Mobile Infantry, This simulation is to prepare you for the impending Bug menace. My impressions of this game is that it is very fun and challenging. The Mobile Infantry will send different squads to you to fight the bug menace to eradicate a infestation plaguing one of the colonies. If you watched any of the recent movies (to include Starship Troopers : Chronicles), you'll find pretty much most of the weapons are well represented. The bugs are exactly like the movies and shows. The Hoppers were by far the most annoying ones, since the Mobile Infantry didn't like firing at them in particular (their executions were justified). As for game play bugs, I found a couple times that the units abilities wouldn't fire or there were some pathfinding issues, especially with the Marauder Suits. Other times some of the Mobile Infantry would "take cover" in terrain and not fire unit they were issued another move order. Overall, I recommend this game, in essence, the only good bug is a dead bug! Would you like to know more?
