Continuing the critically acclaimed ‘The Room’ game series, Fireproof Games are proud to bring the third instalment to PC. The Room Three continues the tactile puzzle-solving gameplay of its predecessors while considerably expanding the world for the player to explore. Once again, Fireproof Games have re-built, re-textured and re-lit every asset and environment to bring the mysterious world of The Room to life. In The Room Three you find yourself lured to a remote island, where you must draw upon all your puzzle-solving ability to navigate a series of trials devised by a mysterious figure known only as “The Craftsman”. Fireproof Games are a small independent team working in Guildford in the UK. We self-published our first game The Room on iPad in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room games have since changed our lives and we hope you enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed making them.

I have played through The Room One and Room Two and I am just about to finish The Room 3
I have played through The Room One and Room Two and I am just about to finish The Room 3. I just turned 80 and I have 364 games on Steam that range from Microsoft Flight Simulator X, to Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Machinarium, and Samorost 3. The Room series are at the top of My Favorites list. Solving each puzzle is like opening a beautifully wrapped gift; one never knows what the unwrapping will reveal. Ialways had a 'surprised' reaction when the mechanism opened. The puzzles are logical and when solved, the meticulously crafted mechanical animations are a pure joy to watch. I wish there was a replay button so that the animations could be viewed again and again. The sound track is soothing and I am never tempted to lower or mute the sound. The story line is Myst-like but I never pay much attention to the story even in story-rich games like Skyrim. At such a low price, The Room Three is not only a bargain but a jewel purchased at a costume jewelry price.

The Room Three is a series of puzzles nested in a great many rooms. The puzzles are challenging, but logical with a nice balance between difficult and not too hard. The puzzles are more ingenious than the first two games in my opinion. It’s almost impossible not to sit there fiddling around with a box or machine, pulling at its many bits and pieces trying to see what works. I highly recommend playing all three games in the series, starting with the first one, otherwise the dialogue will not make sense. But Room Three is the best in the series.

A quiet favourite
Very beautiful puzzle game with great graphics and textures, camera animation is nice too, the atmosphere is amazing and the feeling of being there is great and convincing.
