Spoiler Free "What you need to know if you want to play this game" 1.) Story wise, go in completely blind. Googling anything can ruin the experience. 2.) Gameplay wise, this was made by Skyrim Modders, so the movement and exploration is heavily influenced and similar to skyrim. 3.) The game plays a lot like a visual novel but with an exploration aspect. If you don't want a game with lots and lots of talking, then this game is not for you. 4.) I know I wanted to find this, but couldn't, but the game is from a first person perspective, but very little of the game requires any actual combat or precise mouse movement. Using a controller is perfectly fine to play this game, but would recommend mouse and keyboard. 5.) You do not need to know about Roman culture to enjoy this game, but it can help. As someone who loves a good mystery game that involves some exploration, I don't really think I can recommend this game enough. Fully worth the full price even though I got it on sale.

One of my best buys this year
I'm a former archaeologist now working in the tech world (to actually make money), to buy games that cover history so that I can virtually live in the world that I like to study. This game checks a lot of boxes for me. Incredible story. Not a super long play--but you'll want to replay from saves to get to different endings/outcomes. Totally worth whatever the price.
