I will write a review in the spirit of the Golden Idol
I will write a review in the spirit of the Golden Idol. Golden Idol is a detective game in which you must fill in blanks using information gathered from crime scenes. The story is full of twists and secrets, while the crime scenes are sometimes pretty clever. With an occult and whimsical story tone, Golden Idol feels like a cross between Obra Dinn and Rusty Lake. *crime *story *Golden *Lake *scenes *Rusty *blanks *Dinn *detective *Idol

If you loved Return of the Obra Dinn then you'll probably love this
If you loved Return of the Obra Dinn then you'll probably love this. It does that wonderful thing of revealing the story as you snap the pieces together, which comes with so many satisfying 'aha!' moments. And because the game is broken down into chapters it's a lot more snackable than Obra Dinn while still being a continuous intriguing and unpredictable story. Seriously good and likely to be my game of the year. This is what gaming is all about!
