It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. Terraria leans hard into Adventure, Survival, Multiplayer, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. It helps that the premise (Dig, build, fight: the 2D sandbox with endless depth.) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
