This game isn´t for everyone

This game isn´t for everyone. The game isn´t challenging and will take at most 2 hours to complete, but that´s not the "proper" way to enjoy it. If you want to have at least some fun out of this game, you must be a person who likes exploring, looking for details, uncovering secrets etc. even when they aren´t necessary to finish the game itself. I took my time to get all the achievements, read every piece of written information and listened to all AR recordings, which took around 5 hours for me. If you want to get involved in the story, go on and give Tacoma a go. (Preferably during a sale) But if you are in for the gameplay instead, don´t bother buying it.

I enjoyed Tacoma, and I'd like to recommend it, with one major caveat

I enjoyed Tacoma, and I'd like to recommend it, with one major caveat. Tacoma is an enjoyable, medium-hardness sci-fi drama. The standard "walking simulator" is mixed up by the addition of replayable "AR Data Recordings", which showcase the lives of the crew. The voice acting is well-done, and the characters are likeable, if not complex. It's a solid game, with a solid plot. BUT: It's short. Incredibly short. I completed the entire story in about 3 hours (the extra time was spent away from the computer), and if you want to get things done quickly, and aren't curious about investigating everything fully, you could probably finish it in 1-2 hours. Is it a good story? Yes. Is it a good game? Maybe. Is it worth $20? No. When it goes on sale, however, it is most definitely a solid purchase.
