i'll be honest, this game isn't the best
i'll be honest, this game isn't the best. but i'd recommend buying it when it's on sale JUST so you can mod it. modded sonic forces is the definitive way to play. here's the mods and codes i used if you're curious - classic sonic improvement - re-imagined physics - sonic forces re-imagined - sonic forces director's additions

My experience so far:
My experience so far: No crashing (post-patch) Rock solid 60fps with no stuttering No cutscene issues Sounds good right? Well... The game is only 2 hours long. No joke. I beat the story in just over 2 hours. Extra activities and side mission might bring that up to about 4-6 hours, but even then it's not worth 40€. This is why I wish there was a "maybe" or "meh" option when reviewing games. Wait until sale or price drop.

Steps to enjoy:
Steps to enjoy: 1. Don't buy at full price. Buy on sale. I bought for $10 2. Don't play the base game unmodded, that's why the reviews for this game are mixed 3. Download Hedgemodmanager 4. Download Sonic Forces Reimagined and Classic Sonic Improvement mods from Gamebanana 5. Enjoy a much better version of the base game. Has roughly 30+ stages total 6. After you finish the base game, disable both of those previous mods and download Sonic Forces Overclocked 7. Enjoy a very nice epilogue for the game. Has 8 stages total
