Rollercoaster Tycoon the best of the rollercoaster creating games! If you never played this in your childhood, your parents probably didn't love you or you weren't old enough to comprehend how awesome this was/is, Now you can experience it whether you played it back in the day or are new to this!! Have fun building awesome rollercoasters that visitors are to afraid to get on, that took you an hour to create! You can build cool food courts with fountains and flowers with a random pyramid built in the middle because WHY NOT!?! its all to make your park looks cool! You can also build death traps! do you remember those visitors to afraid to go on you really cool rollercoaster that took you forever to make!?! why don't you just go kill them off by build a rollercoaster that launches them into the air and then they hit the ground in a ball of flames! That will teach them next...well it will teach the other visitors!! In conclusion this game is awesome and cheap and it has the same stuff back in the day! i give this 1,000 visitors and a Park Rating of over 900!!! or 10/10

Classic game just as I remember it, and now I don't have to worry about keeping up with the CD. If you can't get the game to start on win 10, then you're most likely missing DirectPlay. Open the old style 'control panel' (window search for it), then search for 'Programs and Features' (not the new apps & features). Select 'Turn windows features on or off', then check the 'Legacy Components' box, and finally check 'DirectPlay.' This will install the necessary files, and there should not be any need for any compatibility settings. Working as of windows version 1703. 06/2017

So to everybody having issues getting this to run on windows 10, there is an easy solution
So to everybody having issues getting this to run on windows 10, there is an easy solution. go to control panel > programs and features on the left side of the screen, you'll see "Turn Windows Features On or Off". click it. You'll get a menu with a bunch of check boxes. go to "Legacy Components" and expand the folder, and make sure DirectPlay is enabled. then enable the "Legacy Components" folder as well if it isnt (it should have a check mark, not a black box). once DirectPlay and Legacy Components have been enabled, the game should play. As for the review itself, this game is exactly like I remember it, and its super fun and nostalgic for me. I'm super happy with it and oddly enough, it runs really smooth on a computer thats 15 years newer than the game :D
