In 1998 a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion. But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. The environments come alive with detail thanks to resolution upgrades and non-static 3D models. . Post-processing effects like Bloom filters, which were not easy to do at the time of the original release, have been added to make the HD graphics even more realistic. . High-Resolution Environments - We've increased the resolution of the background environments by recreating them with a mix of high-res static images, plus animated 3D models.. . Widescreen Support Widescreen (16:9) is supported, so players can experience a greater sense of immersion. . In widescreen mode, the screen will scroll. The port runs perfectly fine at 1080p 60+ Fps. the character models looks great but the background seems blurry and shows its age. of course the game is still awesome and it is the exact one as the 2002 Gamecube version. + 1080p @60Fps (you can choose between original or widescreen) + the new modern control works perfectly. + it is the same game you loved from before. + the jump scares are still effective and it feels great. +/- Bad voice acting (same as the original). - Blurry background textures. bought it for the nostalgia and it delivered that in spades, and also reminded me that i'm officially old now :(

Exactly what I hoped for
Be me Be 10 Mom and Dad are constantly fighting Often can't stay in the same room together My birthday 1996 Dad buys me a PlayStation Mom buys me Resident Evil Dad: "Why did you buy him that? He is 10 and its a Zombie game? Mom: "Well i thought it would get him interested." Tries the game, but im really too young to get it.. Parents take over to help me Mom and Dad acually work together and gets us through the first half of the game I just sit back and enjoy the suspense and vibe of the game - Parents eventually get back together later when little sis is born - Would go on the play the game for the next couple of years until i finally beat it. Be me 16 years old with a GameCube console.. Kinda depressed young kid.. None of my friends came over.. See Resident Evil Remastered release in the videogame store Heart skips a beat Instantly buys it Plays it for the next days Be genuinely happy for the first time in years Tell parents how much i love them Didn't cry myself to sleep for the first time in months - Still plays it on my GameCube today in 2023. A so good game, and one of the best remasters of the perfect Horror game ever. Had to buy it on Steam to.. It is really good. A good buy! <3
