So when I first got this game I really enjoyed it. I would play a few hands or more almost every night. Eventually, I rose in rank, and then I found myself in an odd situation. It turns out the game doesn't truly randomize the deck. Initially, sure, I'd lose to some bad beats, but that happens in real poker plenty. Didn't think much of it. As I rose in rank, I started to notice a trend. I would be sitting on the nuts, betting accordingly, only to be beaten on the river by an outrageous straight, or a miraculous full house, or any number of preposterous river cards that would usually be the only card in the deck which would've let my opponent win over me. It began to happen all the time. It turns out the game has an algorithm designed to promote action. I was late in learning this, and as such, continued to play thinking maybe even I was up against cheaters, seeing as how often nothing cards would be played all-in and still come out on top of pocket kings, or something of the like. See, if you just bank of river wins, you'll hit them constantly. Which obviously means you're playing a game which is not poker, its some sort of coin flip who-chickens-out-first game. If you want to play, it is free, its streamlined and pretty and intuitive, but the algorithm and the changes in chance it creates means you won't actually be playing poker, so if you want to actually play Hold'em, seek elsewhere.
