I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. The Cozy mix is what kept me playing; Miss Neko 3 knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the psychedelic city — Neko City#96572! All) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Worth it, especially on sale.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. The Cozy mix is what kept me playing; Miss Neko 3 knows what it wants to be. On paper it is Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the psychedelic city — Neko City#96572! All, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
