I legit dont see any real difference from the original graphically

I legit dont see any real difference from the original graphically. Just now its 43gb instead of 7gb. its full of small bugs the older game didnt have, AI gets lost, sometimes events like fights wont trigger. My favorite is the cut scenes are only half there, so you get some story and then it just auto skips and you miss entire sections of story and events.

Easy recommendation

Okay, so, i played a LOT of mafia 2, its my favourite game ever, i replayed it like 50 times, i know every nook and cranny of the game map, every little detail, all the characters, i can basically rehearse the story in my head. My friends can attest to this. The Remaster of mafia 2 is, odd, to say the least, some textures got updated, most notably the roads and the character textures, as well as some more minor elements and Clemente's slaughterhouse seems to have gotten a bit of a repaint too. Main Character models are way more detailed than the classic mafia 2 ones, and some voices of some minor characters have changed, like the soldier's in the intro mission.Markers, markers for enemies on hard mode have been removed, thats for gang members, cops are still visible on the minimap. Lighting has been changed as well, but nothing impressive by any stretch. There are also new gun sounds, which are very pleasant to hear. I honestly have no idea why this needed a remaster, you get some minor graphical upgrades and some postfx options and sounds, but besides that there is nothing to this remaster. Its mafia 2, but with a price hike. I got this because the classic version isn't sold anymore. They shouldve waited a couple of years, and remade this, just like theyre doing with the very first game in the franchise. I will not give this game a negative rating, as i cant give my favourite game a negative rating, as this game really means a lot to me, but i will say that this remaster was not needed, at the best it is unimpressive, and id rather have seen a full fledged rework rather than a not so impressive remaster.Classic mafia 2 still remains the best.
