If you own the original Life is Strange, this remaster is irrelevant
If you own the original Life is Strange, this remaster is irrelevant. There are improvements, such as the lip syncing and certain animations. The texture differences are nearly non-existent or hardly noticeable enough to warrant shilling $60, especially if you're like me and don't even like BtS. A remaster needs to offer substantial changes to an original product and this fails to do so. Go and replay the original, I know I will be.

look, i love this game
look, i love this game. but if you're going to play it, just buy the originals. the remasters are ugly, the lighting is completely broken, the subtitles barely work, and there's a ton of visual glitches where characters will just freeze instead of playing their animation (specifically in ep. 4). i'm going to continue playing the game but only for the fact that i've been showing a friend who's never seen it the story & that i spent the money on it. since it's too late to refund, i wanted to post this and share my current thoughts on the game. it's just not that good. buy the originals, even if they're a little ugly, because at least you can actually play them without super distracting bugs.
