In Granny Simulator there are two players, a feeble old grandmother and her lovely grandson. The grandmothers objective is to complete her every day routine while the grandson utilizes uncanny violence and pure brutality to stop her. The grandmother can find items around her house to help fend off her grandson while she completes her objectives. The grandson can also find objects around the house to throw at his grandmother. Some of the objects are locked in containers that require keys to be opened which can be found around the map.
It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. The Cozy, Sim, Multiplayer mix is what kept me playing; Granny Simulator knows what it wants to be. The pitch — In Granny Simulator there are two players, a feeble old grandmother and her — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Easy recommend at full price.
Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. The Cozy, Sim, Multiplayer mix is what kept me playing; Granny Simulator knows what it wants to be. On paper it is In Granny Simulator there are two players, a feeble old grandmother and her, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting in the quieter sections. Easy recommend at full price.
