Experience the blockbuster classic, updated for a new generation with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, with high-resolution textures, increased draw distance, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more. Five years ago, Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson escaped the haze of Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Now, it's the early 90s. CJ’s got to go home - his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything. Developed by Rockstar Games, adapted by Grove Street Games.
I wanted to buy the trilogy purely for GTA:SA. I was looking at the reviews of all 3 games to see if they fixed the games at all because we all know how it launched only to come across people getting essentially 'bullied' for asking this same question, being called trolls and such by fans telling people off and saying that the only people who question the game is people who don't have the game and are looking to buy it. in my head I was okay fair enough, I will try the games and see myself. I launched Vice City as its one of the games I haven't gotten to play back in the days. 2 hours in roughly and I already encountered 2-3 bugs. Mission Failed message being stuck in my screen even tho I reloaded, mission marks not triggering the mission and the list goes.. *2 HOURS IN...* So yes this is the definition of Stockholm Syndrome cause there is no other explanation for the positive reviews either that or we live in an era that unfinished or messed up games are acceptable and we should be glad that companies just recycle old games just to port them even worse than 10-20 years ago and somehow we are thankful for that. TLDR;; NO, they haven't fixed it yet.
The decision to use the mobile version also meant a lot of the side interactions (such as dancing and lowrider events) are really dumbed down. Lastly, the reworked control scheme meant flight handling is a complete mess. Really wished Rockstar would upscale the original PC version, instead of this garbage. They should of never let a mobile company remaster a none mobile game in the first place. They really need to fix this, one of the best GTA's and they let a mobile game company destroy it. They need to bring back the OG back into stock the remaster is a complete mess and barley playable. Lucky I still have the OG version. Pros: Graphical Enhancements UI and Gameplay Cons: Flying controls aren't the greatest and the general controls as well. Some areas have random stuff glitched around the map Doing a stealth knife sometimes glitches Soundtracks More Bugs and Glitches then I've seen in any game that I've played Mini map being inaccurate whilst in helicopter or airplane Overall: 4/10
