When I was 9 years old I watched a play through of Gone Home

When I was 9 years old I watched a play through of Gone Home. I cried so hard and thought about it for months. Unfortunately, after some time- I'd forgot it's name. For years, I asked everyone I knew if they had ever heard of this game I could only loosely recall. Then finally, 11 years later I found it again. This short, sweet, almost ominous game had impacted me so greatly and to finally play it at 20 yrs old has healed me sm. I love this game sooo deeply.

Hard to put down

I've read some of the negative reviews and name calling is petty so instead I'll just say a lot of those opinions are dumb. Look. This isn't Firewatch. This is a seven year old game that pissed off a lot of bros and continues (apparently, christ) to do so because it embraced not only being a walking simulator but a gay one at that. And yeah bro, 15 bucks seems steep for a game that you can finish in under an hour, but hell, maybe don't speed run? It's a walking simulator after all. Or maybe support indie game devs. *Or maybe* read the Steam tags that say "short" and "walking simulator" and then don't count that against the game. You don't review CS;GO and say "not bad, but too much shooting" right? RIGHT? Look. I've had some wine. And I've had some feelings. And Gone Home is a piece of video game history whether people want it to be or not. It's a game I wish I would have known about when it was first released. Hell I needed it five years earlier than that. If you're pissed that Gone Home wasn't dramatic enough or that it's "homosexual" then maybe realize that this game wasn't made for you and that does not qualify it as bad. Anyway, that cat journal achievement was neat.

I like this walking simulators where you search for every hidden detail

I like this walking simulators where you search for every hidden detail. This house is big, the story is good & sad but with hope. The house is very big & many little details to find behind every corner or well hidden. I missed even 1 detail on a map because i didnt watched 100 % closely. So its good for walking simulator fans/ people who like to search everything & Steam Achievement Hunters
