One of my best buys this year
It’s that sort of game where you start playing without knowing what you’re going to do, and end up spending hours doing something completely random, the sheer number of mods, maps and game modes is mindboggling, and playing with friends makes it all even more fun, on the other hand, some servers are just a complete shambles, and playing on your own can get a bit boring after a while, even so, it’s a sandbox game with virtually endless possibilities.

One of my best buys this year
I have over 2000 hours in this game ever since my friend gave it to me back in 2023, i have no idea why i never wrote a steam review for GMod, but here is my take on this gem of a game: Literally the definition of a sandbox, it doesnt matter if it's singleplayer or multiplayer, i will ALWAYS play this game and have fun with it. Sure, the game nowdays heavily relies on its own community for its mods and stuff, not to mention that the ping can be a bit frustrating, but good god, the ammount of possibilities in this game is beyond surreal, GMod doesnt need to be concurrent on today's gamings standards, it has its own soul that makes it any time spent on it a magical and unique experience, and the community helping keeping this game alive? Not only it makes an already solid vanilla experience, but it just completely changes the entire CORE of the game in ways you cannot even comprehend. GMod is a game that that is a one in a BILLION, if i could rate this an infinite/10 game, i would. Thank you so much Garry Newman for continouesly updating this game, believing on its community & popularity to make gmod from a simple half-life 2 mod to a whole completely life changing sandbox gaming experience, filled with nostalgia, fun memories and unique experiences. I downloaded this game thinking I was gonna build cool stuff
I downloaded this game thinking I was gonna build cool stuff. 300 hours later I’m putting a toaster in a bathtub while my friend is getting launched across the map by a chair. I have no idea what happened to my life, but I’m having a great time.
