Anna's Dad: "So which one is the boyfriend? Is it the homeless tramp or the school shooter?" Just one of the many things in this game that amaze me. Played for 9 hours straight, and reading this line at 5AM made me burst into laughter. Perfect job by Matt as always, I am ever thankful for the Epic Battle Fantasy series. Definitely one of my favorite games ever, and will stay as one forever.
Matt's games were my childhood. EBF4 was a gift the the kongregate community, genourously made for free, and as the ratings for it were high, likely tens of thousands of kids like me were getting introduced to the rpg genre with it. The game was never pay to win, however there was some extra dlc you could buy, but it wasn't necessary, just something extra for people who could and wanted to support the developer. Now I'm an adult. I bought this game, not because it was behind a paywall. I did it to support Matt. And this game, EBF5, is somehow even better than the previous installment. I don't regret it in the slightest. Buy this game.
