In light of the layoffs to Codemasters staff that EA announced today, I can no longer recommend this game
In light of the layoffs to Codemasters staff that EA announced today, I can no longer recommend this game. I've avoided all EA titles for years for exactly this sort of thing. I finally break down and then they go and do this. Think about it: EA pressed Codemasters staff to ship WRC in time for the holiday rush. Then they don't even keep those same employees on through the holidays. Disgraceful.

Not the game for me
I genuinely like EA WRC, but adding Kernel level anticheat to a rally sim, while denying access to Steam Deck and Linux users, is some galaxy-brained decision only EA can pull off

Kernel-Level AntiCheat for a Rally-Game?
Kernel-Level AntiCheat for a Rally-Game? Are u fu*ing serious? I made an exception with buying an EA-Game after boycotting them for years, because this game was developed by Codemasters. No EA-exceptions anymore.
