Craft The World is a unique sandbox strategy game, the mix of Dungeon Keeper, Terraria and Dwarf Fortress. . Explore a random generated world populated by dangerous creatures, build a dwarf fortress, gather resources, and craft all the items, weapons, and armor you need.. . . You control a tribe of dwarves by giving them commands to dig in certain places, attack enemy creatures, and build houses and other structures. You'll need to provide your dwarves food and clothing, as well as help them with magic when fighting against other inhabitants of the world. You start the game with one dwarf and gain additional dwarves as your experience level increases.. . . Each game level has many layers of earth to explore, from the sky down to boiling subterranean lava. The level is randomly generated as an island, restricted by natural boundaries: oceans on the edges, lava beneath it, and the sky above. Other features include day and night and changing weather conditions. The worlds differ in size, humidity, temperature, terrain, and flora and fauna. One of my favourite "Dwarf Fortress-lite" games
One of my favourite "Dwarf Fortress-lite" games. Very accessible (almost feels casual at times). The only real downside is that it can get a bit grindy late-on. Works great on a tablet too (Surface Pro 4).

First 10 hours - Awesome Next 10 hours - Fun Next 10 hours - ok Next 10 hours - Tedious Next 10 hours - Arrrghhhh! Ok, so why overall positive review? Great value for money! You will get 30 hours of fun out of this game, which makes it money well spent. What happens that makes it a mind numbing tedious grind? Basically there are 3 worlds. You start the first and work your way up in tech to fight the final bosses and move on to the next world. Now here is the kick to the nuts, every time you start a new world, you start completely over!! I started my third world and couldn't take it anymore. The worlds are a little different so that is kinda fun, but the tech is the same. Grind fest by gameplay hour 40. Still, would reccomend you try it. 30 hours of fun! Better bang for your buck than movie or amusement park.
