3About Cities: Skylines II
Cities: Skylines II goes deeper on economy and traffic than its predecessor — city builders keep coming back even when the sim misbehaves.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks
Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. Cities: Skylines II leans hard into City Builder, Sim, Strategy, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. The pitch — The deepest city builder around, traffic and all. — is delivered without too much filler. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. There is more content here than the price suggests. I will be back for another run.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday
This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. The City Builder, Sim, Strategy mix is what kept me playing; Cities: Skylines II knows what it wants to be. The pitch — The deepest city builder around, traffic and all. — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. There is more content here than the price suggests. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
