Bright Memory is a lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres, created by one-man development studio FYQD using Unreal Engine. Combine a wide variety of skills and abilities to unleash dazzling combo attacks. SRO (Supernatural Science Research Organization) agent Shelia's adventure is about to begin. This game depicts the maiden adventure of a woman named Shelia in the year 2020. The 1000-year-old relic swords known as "Kanshou and Bakuya", discovered through SRO research, have been found to comprise a unique multilayered structure, containing a mysterious substance in their cores. This substance, known as the "Soul of Jiu Xuan", possesses the ability to reanimate the dead. In an attempt to take possession of the substance, the "SAI" - a massive terrorist organization controlling its own army - has used a cutting-edge piece of technology known as a "Quantum Transporter" to infiltrate the SRO research facility and steal top-secret and incredibly dangerous data. To make matters worse, while attempting to calibrate coordinates on the Quantum Transporter, Shelia mistakenly activates the device, immediately transporting everyone in the vicinity to the Floating Island - an
At first, the game felt weird, it had no sense... then I find out the game is just a demo for an upcomming title, Bright Memory Infinite. Also I find out, this is a one man project... I will be honest, I wasn't expecting this much of fun and quality at all. It worth to try out, graphics are beautiful, sounds and music are fit for the game, gameplay is challanging and you will be more interested in for the upcoming title. Of course there are some minorr bugs and issues, and you might say that 8 € is too much, but it really worth that money. Quality game!
Looks alright its like a mixture of Destiny, Shadow warrior, Doom and Tomb Raider for me the only downside of it is that it is waaaay too short.
so a lot of people are complaining that this game is basically a "demo" thats because it IS a demo. this version was made as a demo intentionally. those who purchase this version get the full version on its release for free. they left "early access" for this demo because they are no longer working on it. and instead working on the full version "Bright Memory: Infinite" "About Bright Memory: Episode 1 During the initial stages, since it was pretty difficult to estimate the number of copies that would sell, I decided to create the kind of game that could start out as a demo and later use crowdfunding support to develop further. I’ve finally managed to amass enough time and funding, so the action and general gameplay will remain as-is but the story and stages are all being reworked." ~ Bright Memory: Infinite page. Now. for my actual review. for a demo this is actually a really lovely look at what we are going to expect. in my opinion it mixes a sort of DMC, Uncharted and Warframe feel into an FPS. rather well might I add. the gunplay feels really good. the controls do need work however. and the one reference that i noticed is one that i will love (i wont spoil it despite it being such a small thing) but for its price id say its worth it. it IS short yes. and the cutscenes arent skippable unfortunately but again. this is a demo for what we should expect.
