One of my best buys this year
Do you want a fun turn-based RPG, with humour, really cool character developement, great crafting system - and a bit so-so story , but nice enough ? Then this is definitely for you ! I really love the fact that the tank here is a little girl ....and the healer is the really big guy ;) Crazy :) ! And you get to go fishing ! Negative ; The story is not the greatest, mostly because it seems you are in the middle of a book without any beginning, and also not really an end. The last is ok - I really hope for a sequel ! The first is of course because this is originally a comic - so lots of people knows the start and characters already. I wish there was a little intro about it, because I have never heard of this before. And many with me. But the minus is only a very small one ! The Positive ; Absolutely Everything Else ! The dungeons change every time you enter them - and you need to enter them more than once, if you want to get it all. ...and remember to watch out for "Airship Syndicate " ( the developers ) - they sail the skies , looking for you, and attacks at any opportunity ;D

Should you buy this game?
Should you buy this game? Well, depends on what you're looking for. Me? I'm just an old school gamer that used to play Final Fantasy on the NES and Phantasy Star on the Sega Master System. Yes, I'm showing my age here, but, it's for a good reason. Both games mentioned above were staples in my gaming library growing up and I've spent hours everyday scratching that itch. You know what itch I'm referring to. The itch to explore a new world and loose yourself within it. Fighting enemies for a cause and finding treasure along the way. I haven't felt that itch being scratched more then with Battle Chasers: Nightwar. If you enjoy JRPG's, Turn-Based Combat (with a surprisingly deep amount of strategy) and Exploration this is the game for you. Worth the $30 US? Yes, it is friends.

A Masterpiece
A Masterpiece. I've been playing games for over 35 years and Battle Chasers: NIghtwar may now be my favorite game of all time, knocking the original The Legend of Zelda from it's position currently. Being a 41 year old with three kids under 7, a puppy, wife and carreer this game is perfect for me and my lifestyle. It's not too overly complicated yet deep enought to make one think. The art is painfully beautiful and the story is top shelf. I'm so tired of mmo's and rpg's at the moment because they all seem similar after awhile of playing to me but this one...this one is something special. I've yet to finish the game but I hope there are many more to follow in this wondrous world of Battle Chasers: NIghtwar.
