Still thinking about it
As a hardcore Assassin's Creed fan for the last 10+ years this is gonna be the final Assassin's Creed game for me until Ubisoft improves and makes games for old assassin's creed fans. This game is mediocre at best but I'm giving it a thumbs up because it has improved stealth system and some tools from OG games. I won't be buying any new assassin's creed games until stealth system is improved. No more RPG open-worlds that take 300+ hours to finish. Enjoy your new audience, Ubisoft. Requiescat in Pace.

Frustrating more than fun
As an AC fan from the beginning of the series, i was very excited at first to see what this "back to the original" AC would turn out. The results: Absolutely boring story and map exploration, extremely disappointing fights and assasination techniques, the classic parkour AC bugs (one would think after 15 years of AC games the movement this wouldn't be a major issue) and on top of all the story the main character was written out of pure laziness and zero effort of inspiration. After Valhalla I expected that there had to be some reason for switching the main story towards Basim but, as it clearly turns out, Ubisoft just wanted to make an AC game in the Middle East and nothing more. If you are an old AC fan, this game is a total rip off, was clearly made for short-term profit and has absolutely nothing to contribute in the story that made us love the series. P.S.: Please Ubisoft just let AC die peacefully. Create another story so that it's not painful anymore to watch you destroy it.
