In the Navy, it is common to go on deployments of 6-10 months with no Internet connection in that time. If I want to play Assassin's Creed II, I therefore can't, because I can't connect to the Internet. There is absolutely zero reason that one cannot play a 15-year-old single player game offline. I was planning to buy Far Cry 4 and 5 for the next underway but I won't because I won't be able to play them. Ubisoft, you are actively losing money by requiring single-player games to be always online.

It was absolutely fantastic
It was absolutely fantastic. Excelent gameplay, good story, so much to do in any moment. A vast improvement from Assassin's Creed 1. Better combat, story, controls,same camera, same problems with Ezio climbing walls you don't want to because...controller, same "Get every viewpoint" obsession, same badass killing blade(s), better game economy, shops, not repeating same stuff 9 times....I should stop now. Can't go wrong buying the game, especially on sale(then it's a no brainer)!! 9.5/10
