Easy recommendation

Pros: -Large variety of guns -Story campaign (took me 3.6 hrs to beat the campaign) -Me and my wife(who just watched) enjoyed to narration of the campaign -Guns shoot accurately, if you line up the sights you'll get a headshot almost everytime. -Variety of scenery in the game, 3-4 very different areas: desert, cave, industrial, desert towns -Shooting tons of zombies in the face Cons: -Glitchy lights at times -Poppy textures/scenery at times -Constanly getting stuck on stuff when using trackpad locomotion -Short campaign? 3.5 hours on normal difficulty -Lots of things you want to pickup but cant Overall: I have not tried horde mode yet, but the campaign alone is worth at least $20. I still have some time to put into this title with multiplayer. I paid $32 and that price seems fair to me.

Exactly what I hoped for

This review comes from a former police officer who now has a debilitating illness which limits my mobility and makes me prone to motion sickness. I love VR. It allows me to, however briefly, trick my body into thinking I can move again. But I cannot play many games for long because I get simulation sickness easily. But I can play this game all day. I don't know all the things that make it different, but I have noticed simple little things like a consistent framerate, and its teleporting blacks out the screen for a split second so I don't get sick. It's the best made VR game I have and the only one FPS I can play for an extended period of time. Then there are the mechanics They are simple but realistic enough that I can lose myself in the game while looting and shooting. It strikes the perfect balance of feeling real without being difficult or finicky; press a button to drop your clip, touch the gun to your belt to reload. Not super-realism, but it's a game. It's supposed to be fun. The best part is the gunplay; I can aim down my sights just like with my real gun (the default pistol has the same sights as my service weapon and feels the same when using it, only no recoil.) The only sticking point is the price. The game is short and $40 is a lot for it. But the DLC is dirt cheap and it's updates are free, so if you have the money or find it on sale I highly recommend it. And I got my wife to play the online multiplayer with me and she actually enjoyed it, despite hating shooters. It helped that easy difficulty has laser sights.
