More From Us. . About the Game. From the BAFTA-Award winning studio behind Monument Valley and Assemble with Care comes something entirely new. Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it. This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather - who is a total bird nerd - by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that. Handcrafted visuals. Every little corner of the island has been looked after with great detail. Trust me, it took us a while to make it . Join Alba and Ines to found the AIWRL (really rolls off the tongue doesn't it?), an organisation that can save the island . You will need to gather a bunch of volunteers and the town is full of good people. Help them out and convince them to join you . There are animals everywhere, can you find all the species?. . What you can expect:. Great
The fact that this is a real game that exists fills me with absolute joy :( My name is Alba too, I loved going to my pueblo costero (Oviñana, in Asturias!) every summer when I was a kid and just looking at animals and plants and feeling the breeze. It really was the best feeling ever and probably the time in my life I cherish and miss the most. Thank you so much for this game and for bringing back that feeling for me ♥
As a Spanish Mediterranean dad living in UK this game has touched me deeply. I agree with all the superficial reviews, but very few seem to appreciate the massive and accurate depiction of... everything. The town, the food, the Spanish slang, the bird sounds, the sea, the people, the castle, the paellas, the corrupt mayor, the love for nature and animals that my elders also taught me. I didn't play this game myself but my 5 year old daughter did. The game absolutely got my full attention thanks to the detail that Alba was flying from Gatwick to Valencia. I couldn't feel more identified with it. It also gives you and the younger a few basic life lessons. 10/10 outstanding
With losing my job due to Covid, I found myself in a rough spot. I've been spending a lot of time in my head. Overthinking everything. I came across this game and quickly downloaded it because it reminded me of a simpler time. It reminded me about going out for nature walks with my parents, my windup Kodak camera and taking pictures of what I saw. Them teaching me about nature, the importance of environmental awareness and enjoying watching animals from a safe distance. I beat this game in one sitting, streamed it, and cried when it was over. The simple controls, the playful music, the heart warming story, and all around joyful experience of the game is one I will not forget. Thank you for reminding me of my childhood and what really matters.
