Hard to put down
Took 12.5hrs to beat the game, it was a good experience so far, it ressembles Bloodborne, Nier Automata and Code Vein aspects into it and delivers a very smooth game. Pros -The most smooth and fastest Soulslike out there -Fantastic gameplay -Extremely fun weapon arsenal with great animations -Good level design (quite linear like dark souls 3 but around mid and endgame it becomes better) -Beautiful artstyle (if you enjoy games like code vein, wuthering waves and any cel shading anime game) -Hitboxes were greatly designed and accurate -No Camera issues with big bosses (something fromsoftware HAS NOT fixed) -Amazing outfits design, very rewarding to obtain Cons -Story was weak at the end (it was not engaging and tries very hard to mimmick Bloodborne) -Non existant OST, just ambient sound (as a soulslike this was by far the most dissapointing aspect due to other games excel in this section) -Enemy variation and design is good but they are recycled to death specially on the mid-late and endgame (which explains why this game is very light (17gb) (A LOT of reused game assests) -Voice Acting overall was mixed (main protagonist VA is terrible and last boss really cringy) So overall i can guarantee you this game being a 70/100 experience, but i really had a great time with the game itself so it's a 80/100 for me. Don't let that terrible IGN review fool you. This is a great game that is a ton of fun and challenging. Defeating the bosses will give you the souls high satisfaction many lovers of this genre chase after.
