Agent A made me feel smart and observant without the obstacles being too obtuse or impossible
Agent A made me feel smart and observant without the obstacles being too obtuse or impossible. The graphics were stylized, a bit too simple for my tastes, but they were clear and did the job. It was a different look than the usual, so there's that. The comments by Agent A often felt sophomoric, even though they tried to be clever. and there were several ridiculous or far-fetched situations, so the story and writing left something to be desired, especially the ending. However, the most important thing here, the puzzles, were pretty good overall and even fun sometimes. They relied a lot on observation, exploration and manipulation of objects. It made me think of a simpler The Room game (the first) with a lot more rooms to visit. If you're looking for a decent first-person puzzle game veering on the easy side with a few adventure trappings, then Agent A should satisfy. I initially expected a standard point-and-click adventure, realized quickly it was a puzzle game when I started, but ended up pleasantly surprised. I might not recommend it at full price, though.

A really cute puzzle game with great art and funny characters
A really cute puzzle game with great art and funny characters. The puzzles aren't really difficult, but they're varied. Overall this is more of a chill and relaxing game that tickles your brain enough and doesn't overstay its welcome. Which I appreciate. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing puzzle game.

An adorable spy adventure with simple puzzles and a cute, comical story
An adorable spy adventure with simple puzzles and a cute, comical story. I found it to be a relaxing experience with easy, yet satisfying, puzzles. I almost never felt lost or confused. This may be more aimed towards a younger audience, but I enjoyed it just the same. This was a fun little treat. I'll certainly be playing more from Yak & Co.
