Loving it
Loving it. Bonus - videos that are like the history channel before it turned to aliens. Great stuff. Casual "old man" who played AoE and AoE 2 on my first computer, really enjoying this modern version.

Game is good
Game is good. Don't be afraid to be bad at it. Don't feel bad about playing against easy AI. You're allowed to have fun without being The Best at it.

Pros: Farm now fits around Town Center perfectly
Pros: Farm now fits around Town Center perfectly. 10/10 -----------[Update Nov 29] Now I have given enough play time, I could write some honest review. First of all, you can't compare AOE4 with directly AOE2 due to just how the game works (2D vs 3D, 3D physics/collision, etc). If you love AOE2 that much, just stick to AOE2. pff why even develop a new game when all people wants is AOE2. How I have cleared the boundaries, keep in mind that my point has no influence from AOE2. Things I hope AOE4 could have done better: 1. AI, the AI is just stupid in this game, you could use archers to skirmish the hell out of them, they will just run back to their base. 2. Projectiles, arrow don't miss now. (But armor of infantry units/ man at arms especially is higher, so i guess that cancels out? ) 3. Rams are stupidly strong, build 3~5 ram + some unit and rush into enemy castle/town center = auto win. (In PVE) (But that makes sense, so people now won't ignore siege engine now. But really could do some balancing on that) 4. Collision, collision. in real world, large scale battle do collide a lot, AOE4 nailed that, but after colliding, the AI that controls the units going around to engage enemy are terrible. (Back to point 1 i guess.) 5. Camera movement are a bit snappy for me ?(But are doable after you get used to it) (RTX2080, 32GB RAM) 6. Inconsistent campaign difficulty, some are extremely easy, some are extremely hard (No matter on far you are in the campaign) Things I find AOE4 done well 1. Unit can stand on wall now. 2. Heroes have unique abilities. 3. Unique faction gameplay (Like the mongols can pack things up, I guess in the future they might add more when they add more factions) 4. etc (I might have missed some.)
