    • Gravesite Plain

Tips for Fighting Messmer Soldiers

    • They have a variety of Ash of Wars that they can use, including War Cry and Stomp. In addition, they can also use a double axe swinging combo, which can be devastating. You'll want to avoid being in melee range once they are buffed.
    • Messmer Soldiers have very little health and poise despite how strong they are.
    • Trying to attack them first is advisable, which can be done via stealth and backstabs.
    • Ranged battle may be easier for you as it allows you to avoid the vast majority of their high-damage attacks.

Shadow of the Erdtree made the base game bosses feel like a tutorial. Bring a Scadutree blessing, the DLC does not forgive.

Bleed builds get memed but riding through Caelid with a Rivers of Blood katana is pure fun. Play what wins for you.

The leap from Dark Souls to this open world is wild. Getting lost in Limgrave for a weekend is a core memory now.

Blew 90 hours exploring before fighting the second shardbearer. Every catacomb felt hand placed. FromSoftware trust the player like nobody else.
