!!!STEAM DECK USERS!!!
!!!STEAM DECK USERS!!! As of February 2026, ignore the unsupported tag, this game runs great on deck with only a few steps 1. go to properties and set resolution to 1600x1000 2. copy this and paste into launch options: SteamDeck=0 %command% 3. switch to proton experimental 4. ingame, switch from directx11 to vulkan. you will get substantially higher fps. make sure to set graphics to medium or low and enable dynamic resolution. I personally use a mix of medium and low settings and set the resolution scale to 85. with those settings you'll get decent fps, 60 most of the time and dips into 50s during more demanding sections. is the game good? yes. is the online co-op fun? yes. do players quit when they get knocked down by zombies without even waiting for res? YES! srsly whats up with these idiots quitting the game after playing like a monkey.

It's L4D with CoD style progression
It's L4D with CoD style progression. Play, gain xp, unlock perks for your class. The more you use the same weapon you gain xp with it and can level them up to increase it's stats. Crossplay is simple, your friends can just join through a unique code you give them. It runs well, for some reason vulkan causes stuttering or frame drops (at least on my system) so i stick to dx11. There's no jumping and sometimes you get stuck walking over/up elevation (e.g. trying to go up stairs or walking over train tracks) but tapping crouch seems to alleviate that (they need to fix that)
