It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Action, Multiplayer, Co-op is your thing, Windblown delivers it without much filler. On paper it is A lightning-fast 1–3 player co-op roguelite from the creators of Dead Cells, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. I will be back for another run.
I wanted to love this, but it never quite got its hooks into me. Windblown promises a lot with its Action, Multiplayer, Co-op setup, but the loop wore thin quickly. It advertises A lightning-fast 1–3 player co-op roguelite from the creators of Dead Cells; what you get is a thinner version of that. Too many systems are introduced and then abandoned. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. Wait for a deep sale.
