Unrailed! is a chaotic online and couch co-op multiplayer railroad construction game where you work together with your friends as a team to build a train track across endless procedurally generated worlds. Master encounters with its inhabitants, upgrade your train and keep it from derailing!BUILD A TRACK FURTHER THAN EVER BEFORE. So the core gameplay is pretty harmless
So the core gameplay is pretty harmless. You have a train, you lay the tracks. Problem: The train is already moving and there are only a handful of tracks. So you chop wood, mine iron and build new tracks so the train can move on. Simple as that. Combine this with your friends running around like headless chicken because they forgot that you can't walk through trains, misplaced the mining / chopping tools, got blown up by the dynamite you just placed… and you have lots of chaotic fun. Unless you're German. Then it is a very orderly and civilised game where everybody does their job so the train is punctual.

One of my best buys this year
Never before had a dev respond to any feedback or even support requests with anything but an automatic message saying "no" in a lot of fancy words. When I had problems with this game I was contacted within hours I and only little time later the game was bootable and after that additional bugfixes where made available. I am a lot more confident in the Steam Deck build now. I hope more people test it and report. Thanks to the dev team.
