The Game: Here is a sandbox like no other. Create massive battles with absolutely no limits. Want to see 10,000 chickens fight an army of Romans?? Sure, why not. Want to see a company of WW2 U.S soldiers fight 11,000 Medieval soldiers?? There are simply no limits to the carnage you can achieve in Epic Battle Simulator. Mess around with a massive variety of units. Everything from, Roman Centurions, Medieval soldiers, Knights, Orcs, Trolls, and yes, chickens! The main focus in this game is giving the player no restrictions to what he can do. That is why we decided not to limit the amount of units in battle. Want to see what a battle of 100,000 units looks like? We don't recommend going past 10,000 for most machines but its your CPU, do what you want! On top of that, you can play as any one of the units in the game, getting up close and personal to help change the tides of a massive battle, while rallying teammates and giving them orders! The Technology: Unfortunately there really aren't many engines that you can chuck 10,000 characters in and expect good performance. This is why I worked months on end to create the most powerful crowd rendering system ever conceived in Unity engine

This is the contrarian review: "OMG I HATE THIS GAME! THERE AREN'T ENOUGH UNITS!" Ok. Here are new units. "Oh... umm... I HATE THIS GAME! IT DOESN'T RUN WELL ENOUGH!!!" Okay. We said it was tough on the GPU, but here are some fixes. "Oh... thx but... um.... OMG I HATE THIS GAME!!! THERE AREN'T ENOUGH MAPS!!!!" Okay. Here's a bunch of new maps. I hope you enjoy. "Oh........ ummmmmm... uhhhhh.... okay... wait. WAIT! HOLD ON! I WANT MORE UNITS! I NEED MORE!!!" Okay. Here are more units. "Oh... okay. I... I WANT STEAM MODS!! *hehe, that'll get em*" Okay. Here is access to the steam workshop. We'll keep working for you! "Um... okay... um.... I WANT A FIRST PERSON SURVIVAL VERSION OF THE GAME!!!!!" Okay. Here is a first person survival version of the game. Enjoy! "Ummmmmm........... okay... welll..... ummmmm... THE GAME DOESN'T RUN WELL ENOUGH!!!!" Okay. We updated the game to run better. "OMG THIS GAME IS SO GARBAGE AND THE DEVELOPERS ARE TRASH!!!!!" I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not.

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!! It's characters are fun to listen to, and watch get killed, so that's an upside, but for an exact list, here are the pros and cons (now that the full game is out): Pros: -The graphics are superb! -The battles are fun to watch! -You can control people, and fight as them! -Nigh-unlimited possibilities! -Seemingly frequent updates! -THERE IS WORKSHOP! CONS: -I'm worried it might get boring. -Semi unsupportive community... -Too few maps. -Common bugs with pathfinding.

If this game gets Workshop support then the possiblites will be endless. Edit: It now has workshop support, good job bois we did it. Now they need to work on optimization and other QoL updates to make this game actually playable, its fun for about an hour after that it tends to get stale. Im still giving this a postive review but I wouldnt recommend it just yet, it has a lot of stuff to work out. Biggest thing they need to work on imo is optimization, if you have a tone of units on screen it lags ass. Maybe even add scenarios?
