Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. If Adventure, Cozy, RPG is your thing, Travellers Rest delivers it without much filler. The pitch — Craft, farm, build and cook! In Travellers Rest you will have to use all the — is delivered without too much filler. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. Easy recommend at full price.

I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. If Adventure, Cozy, RPG is your thing, Travellers Rest delivers it without much filler. It helps that the premise (Craft, farm, build and cook! In Travellers Rest you will have to use all the) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. I will be back for another run.
