Transport Fever is a railroad-focused tycoon game. Players start in 1850 and build up a thriving transport company. A game with a campaign of no consequence
A game with a campaign of no consequence. Also, a sandbox and a trove of mods and improvements, and for my son a virtual model railway, with the advantage that models do not cost an arm and a leg as they would with a physical railway, plus he does to have to clean up his room when he's finished building. The hours on this game are his, and he's looking forward to TF2.

DON'T buy this game if you want a good transport management game
DON'T buy this game if you want a good transport management game. This game is horrid at it. All you have to do is keep connecting the city after city and that's about it. Not much route planing or business aspect involved (compare to, let's say Cities in Motion or Chris Sawyer Locomotion). HOWEVER this gamin isn't meant to be Transport management game. It is a sandbox for virtual model train. Train model has been rendered beautifully. As well as tracks, trees and everything. If you, as a kid, once dreamed of having that beautifully-made super expensive model train like me. This game is for you. It is exactly that, only in PC and much cheaper. If you want a good transport/business management game. Skip this game.
