TLDR: the game is ALMOST good
TLDR: the game is ALMOST good. Tho I may be old and taking it too seriously... I may be getting old, but I feel like the battles are over before I manage to click on anything. I take my time, set my troops carefully only to see them rush like headless chickens into the enemy. In other words, what the game needs to be any good is: -Larger maps (it's kind of pointless to set up an army on a football field. Might as well just put them in one pile). -Orders! [EDIT: this has been added into the game since this review] Hold position, attack here, move through here... The basics at least. -AI. This has to be my greatest frustration over this game. The AI does not exist. Units just run into the enemy and shoot. That's it, really... -Lack of any video/graphics options... -Rather bad performance considering the simple graphics used. -Also, there is no Panzer IV, the workhorse of WWII Germany. I do like the idea of the game, but as it is right now, it's kind of just a WWII version of TABS. I hope this is not the final version of the game (feature-wise). EDIT: Orders were added into the game since this release. Great job and big thanks to the developers for this. I am sticking with not recommending the game, however, because all my other listed cons still bug me.

Four long years have I awaited
Four long years have I awaited.... FUELED BY MY hype for you.. Yes it's worth it,it's like playing with digital toy soldiers except the dog won't eat them, and nobody's gonna step on them. It's a very cartoony WWII game that can become a FPS on a whim. I'd dare even say it's like Ravenfield at times.
