New Players. If it's not connecting. Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are lazy ♥♥♥♥♥. They still have the old launcher coupled with the game install. That launcher no longer works. Step 1: Install from steam. Step 2: uninstall uplay Step 3: install connect from the ubisoft website. Step 4: relaunch the game. The new launcher installs to the same path as the old one, so the game will find it just fine.
During launch, I loved the game during PvE Stuff. Once I hit 30 and saw all the hackers and how rough end game was (getting gear) I dropped it like a lead brick 2 years later, patch 1.8 comes. MUCH more playable, bullet sponginess isn't as apparent, builds are more manageable, the hackers aren't TOTALLY gone but FAR fewer in numbers. The Game's actually fun, and I have plenty to do. If you're mad at Destiny 2, this is much much much much more tolerable and engaging.
