10 years ago, when I was 8 years old

10 years ago, when I was 8 years old. My mom had bought me this game for the ps3 from Gamestop. I was a really big fan of Legos and the movie back then so this was a great fit. My brother and I would play this game together sometimes and it was really special to me since we hardly had things in common... My parents got divorced later that year and ever since then my brother would go off to college. I am now writing this 10 years later and I can't play this game now. Because it makes me depressed to think about the time that has passed and the memories. If anyone reads this. Love your family members because time goes by way too quick.

This is one of those LEGO games I felt Traveler's Tales didn't put too much effort in

This is one of those LEGO games I felt Traveler's Tales didn't put too much effort in. Most of the characters are useless, a lot of bugs inside the game (some can make your savefile unable to complete the game 100%), boring sidequests and very short in length compared to other LEGO games. Don't get this game at full price, buy it when it goes on sale. You'll get fun from it and by no means is this game bad, but it isn't among the best either.

Still thinking about it

My 6 & 8yo really enjoyed the movie and are having a blast "playing" the movie (like most LEGO games based on LEGO movies). To them, it adds more to Emmet's and WildStyle's stories. Plus they have to cooperate, take turns picking up items and work together as a team to achieve each stage's goal (we've dual controllers on our SteamOS/Windows SteamBox-MediaPC). Basically, they have to practice patience, not being bossy telling the other to do something, asking the other for an assist (even swapping controllers), etc. Watching them play and work together this way as a parent is so worth the sale price.
