Hard to put down
Polytopia fills a niche I'm not sure any other game does: it's a 4X game like Civ, but it's minimalist---its rules are very simple, but still leave lots of room for strategy and tactics. It runs on super low-spec machines, too. Polytopia on PC is much better than Polytopia on mobile. The interface is much snappier and smoother, and you can zoom ALL THE WAY OUT to see the entire map at once, regardless of how large the map is! That is super helpful. If you just started your first singleplayer game and you're wondering where the Domination and Custom gamemode options are, the game makes you play a Perfection game first as a tutorial of sorts. The other gamemodes are unlocked once you finish that first game. Just FYI.

I have maybe over 100 hours on the mobile version, and I was super excited to buy this version. This is a fantastic port, literally nothing wrong with it. Very good UI improvements. If you like strategy games, you must buy Battle of Polytopia.
