Hard to put down
Yes. Yes. Yes. More of this please! Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this fantastic game and a huge middle finger to EA for destroying Westwood Studios and denying us this sort of fun for over 20 years!

So far I can say this is what I wanted for a long time. Good campaign/skirmish game. It does feel like "old" new Red alert game from Westwood. Thank you for making this.

Once there was a Company called EA
Once there was a Company called EA. They said "Well... We have this real time strategy Brand.. Command and Something. No one plays this old stuff anymore. Slipgate Ironworks said "Hold my beer. What was cool at the original game...". And they recreated it. They had not the rights to name them GDI of NOD but their writers were able to write an equally good Scenario. Slipgate Ironworks said: "We need a mission briefing where people talk direct to you." It was done. And it was even better. It´s interactive and feels more immersive. They had no campy Full Motion Video but they also found a good solution here, that works as well. They also made beautiful prerendered cutscenes. To finish the icing on the cake they had the same grudgy industrial Soundtrack style. They even hired the original composer for a bunch of tracks. And whoosh. Magic happened. The game is fun. It´s a must play. Sometimes fairy tales become reality. And the moral: Never throw away good things or brands because they are old when they worked very well in the past. And for you reading this: What are you waiting for? Click on buying. And pick the Deluxe edition with the awesome soundtrack. We want a Sequel or a story mission DLC ASAP. So show Slipgate Ironworks the love they deserve.
