Been playing for weeks now (and still do), time for a short review

Been playing for weeks now (and still do), time for a short review. I must admit, I'm a total noob on deck builders and rogue-likes and discovered this gem by incident. The graphical style got me, so I purchased it while on sale. It was waaay down on my shopping list, but I got a few bucks to spare. Damn, I was addicted from the very beginning! Did not see that coming. Surprise purchase of the year for sure. Every run is different, the quests are very well written (and spoken), the whole atmosphere is so intense. NPCs are fleshed out and memorable. So much to discover. Cool gameplay mechanics, awesome soundtrack as well. It's a piece of art, really. You just feel the love that has been put into this product. Why am I still playing? I love experimenting with different builds and setups. The more you play, the more possibilities open up. How your character turns out during a run and how well a build is functioning is what still keeps me interested. One thing to notice: The camera is a little fiddly at times, especially when you have a lot of cards and minions on screen. It CAN get annoying, but that's just a minor issue. So, if you are still wondering if this is for you: Give it a shot, you won't regret it! At the very least, put it on your list and grab it on sale. You deserve to play this. Don't miss out on this one!

Huge thumbs up if you like Slay the Spire games

Huge thumbs up if you like Slay the Spire games. But make sure to read the guide on "optimizing story choices and their rewards" before you play. There are dialogue choices you can make in your first run that PERMANENTLY affect all of your future runs. You have to start a completely new save file and lose all your progression if you make the wrong choice and want to maximize your potential for higher difficulties. It's almost worth a thumbs down for this. I had to restart early on after noticing bad rewards and looking into it, but the game is such a blast to play so far.

This is a review after i play about 700 hour and have 100% completion ( all cards, passives, achievements,...)

This is a review after i play about 700 hour and have 100% completion ( all cards, passives, achievements,...) What i like in this game: - Very deep and complex character building with cards / runes / passives - 9 different classes, each of them is distinct and play differently - You can comprehend all mechanics in an hour, and u can`t master them in 700 hours. Every run i find a new way to broke the game - Soundtrack is 20 out of 10, voice acting, visual art of the card, beasts, fact u can use Bard as a jukebox and all other cool little touches - Every run is different. Every run u find different cards, runes, passives, fights, bosses,... - You start a run, u got to go, ALT + F4, you are back, start the game, you are exactly where you was. Priceless! What i don`t like in this game: - every new run difficulty is set to highest possible and if i want a chill run (or play a class i`m not good at) i have to click 30+ times to turn it down (minor minor issue only when you reach high difficulty) - i go to sleep too late every time i play :) Great, great game. I can't recommend it enough!
