I remember playing this on the original Xbox when I was just a wee little lad. It's the greatest star wars single player fps to ever come out with zero room for discussion. The soundtrack alone will leave you with sticky drawls while the super battle droids will leave you with soiled drawls. Some of the enemies in this game will tend to leave you a virgin but only in the front. The more you play this heaven sent game, the more you will begin to become attached to your squad. They care for you, listen to you, and love you. Eventually you will feel as if you are more bonded to your squad mates than you are with your real life family, and that's because you are. The more filthy aliens you kill the more your hatred for non clones will grow. Their inferior DNA does not hold a torch to the superior design of your clone brethren. Your loyalty to the Republic shall only become stronger till it surpasses the strength of a mighty Wookie.

There are people in the review section gooning to this game, saying its the best game of all time. I understand why they say that, because this game was a big part of my childhood along with others like Battlefront 2 and Jedi Academy. It's a great game and ahead of its time, but I won't say that it doesn't have its flaws or that it doesn't show its age. The combat is repetitive and the damage that enemies can do to the player swings wildly back and forth. The story is somewhat lackluster and the missions are divided into choppy vignettes that become tiresome after several hours. That being said, if you love Star Wars games this is a must buy, if only to experience a piece of videogaming history. Your squadmates are the heart of this game and commanding them and listening to their chatter and personalities elevates this game from where it would otherwise be. A hearty recommendation.
