I bounced off it twice before finally giving up. The Action, RPG side of Soulstone Survivors is fine on paper, but the execution felt thin after the first few hours. What it promises (Face the Lords of the Void and their endless minions, collect their Soulstones) is more interesting than what it actually does moment to moment. Performance was acceptable, though the loop repeats itself well before the credits. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. Wait for a deep sale.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Soulstone Survivors wears its Action, RPG influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — Face the Lords of the Void and their endless minions, collect their Soulstones — is delivered without too much filler. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. There is more content here than the price suggests. Easy recommend at full price.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Soulstone Survivors leans hard into Action, RPG, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. On paper it is Face the Lords of the Void and their endless minions, collect their Soulstones, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
