Great game, running it Vanilla (No mods) and I've only crashed twice (when pressing the caps lock button oddly enough). I started with Stalker 2 and coming back to the originals its neat seeing original locations and characters. Remember to save often because there's only auto saving when transitioning areas.
As I stepped into the post-apocalyptic world of Chernobyl, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease and trepidation. The game's atmosphere is masterfully crafted to create a sense of tension and paranoia, making every step feel like a calculated risk. The story is engaging and mysterious, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The characters are memorable and well-developed, and the voice acting is superb. But what it truly sets apart is its immersive gameplay. The combat is intense and challenging, requiring you to use stealth and strategy to survive. The environments are richly detailed and varied, from the abandoned cityscapes to the eerie forests. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the game's technical issues. While they can be frustrating at times, I found that they didn't detract too much from my overall experience. Overall, its a gripping and thought-provoking game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you're a fan 10/10
Even tho the game is quite old, it has one of the best alive feeling worlds to this day. My first playthrough has lured me into looking more into the lore of this world and I do not regret it. There are many things left unexplained even after you've finished the game, but that leaves more to learn and it's worth it.
