Wait for a sale
At one point this was one of my favorite game, and then the devs got bought by kabam and kabam made this a pay to win like no other. and pretty much all the old players quit, and you can tell kabam only wants money from this. sad to see that happen to one of my use to be fav games. r.i.p Realm Of the Mad God (EDIT for those who dont really understand) Ok its not all 100% a pay to win. its more of a pay to have fun, and make any real progress. pets to heal you, regen all your mana, and attack for you, gotta pay to make them work. theres, backpacks,potions, item drop enhancers,items to use to create very rare items, very powerful items right off from the start. only way you can get any of these is with money. NOW , i wouldnt mind, skins, colors, things like that, you know? like the old days of this game. now loot boxes with powerful items are added to the loot boxes first, instead of being able to get them from a drop in game.

The game isn't eh issue
The game isn't eh issue. Made several purchases a while back, and recently logged back in to find out my progress and purchases were wiped out for both my and my wife's account. DECA support acknowledges they lost my data and are unwilling to assist in any way. I don't really care about recovering progress (it's a rougelike after all), but losing some of my purchases for perks (i.e. extra character slots) and having to re-purchases those again is not quality support and customer service. TLDR; DECA deleted progress and purchases and will not help replace any portion of it.

Yet, everytime I die, I find myself wanting to play the game again after a break period. 10/10 would feel ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again
