A friend recommended it and I owe them one. The Action, MMO, RPG mix is what kept me playing; Predecessor knows what it wants to be. On paper it is The tactical depth and iconic heroes of a hardcore MOBA meets the explosive, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. Easy recommend at full price.

It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Action, MMO, RPG is your thing, Predecessor delivers it without much filler. The pitch — The tactical depth and iconic heroes of a hardcore MOBA meets the explosive — is delivered without too much filler. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Worth it, especially on sale.
