Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. Not 'the final hope of humanity' post-apocalyptic, but 'humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world' post-apocalyptic. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game. Can you reach the Nuclear Throne?

IF YOU WANT 60 FPS IN NUCLEAR THRONE: 1. Right click Nuclear Throne on steam and left click Properties... 2. Left click BETAS on the left hand side of the menu and select openbeta - Open Beta for 2021 Testing. Close the properties menu and the game will update. 3. Launch the game, go to Settings > Game and change the framerate option to 60!

Nuclear Throne
Nuclear Throne Rating: 8/10 Overview: Bullet-Hell Rogue/ Isometric view The Good: + Multiple characters each with their own unique skill and passive abilities. Each character plays very differently from each other. + Lots of weapons + Randomized levels and upgrades + Very addicting gameplay, it really has the “just one more time” element to it. Highly replay-able game. + Daily and weekly challenges + Good Soundtrack The Average: +/- For a rogue game there isn’t a whole lot to unlock, other than the characters (you start with 2) everything is already unlocked right from the start +/- This is a very challenging game, a typical run to the last boss is around 20-30 minutes, it took me 12 hours before I finally beat the game. Bad level layouts, and getting bad weapons usually result in a quick death. If you hate dying over and over again, this game may not be for you. Conclusion: This game is a lot of fun and very addicting. Despite my frustrating with the game I keep coming back to it from time to time just to see how far I can make it. Finding an awesome gun and getting good upgrades feels satisfying.

Hard to put down
Pirated this game like 9 years ago in highschool, so i have like a bajillion hours actually, played quite consistently since then. I litteraly just bought it because at some point it felt ugly not giving the devs my money, they kinda deserve like a piece of my soul or one of my kidneys Its good It's hard The soundtrack is fire It has the JUICE The modding community is very good And the first time you get to loop 3 or further you kinda achieve nirvana, unlock the secrets of the universe, see images of venus, and get the capacity to speak to shovels. Also, new update in 2 days, good stuff
