It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Action, Adventure, Cozy is your thing, Notes of Soul delivers it without much filler. The pitch — The gleaning club is an immersive game experience hall, where you can — is delivered without too much filler. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. Worth it, especially on sale.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. Notes of Soul leans hard into Action, Adventure, Cozy, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. It helps that the premise (The gleaning club is an immersive game experience hall, where you can) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Easy recommend at full price.
